Helicopter Transfers in Wine Country: What Is and Is Not Possible

Please note: AIR NAPA is an air charter broker. AIR NAPA is not a direct air carrier or a direct foreign air carrier and is not in operational control of any aircraft. All air service advertised by AIR NAPA will be provided by a properly licensed direct air carrier or direct foreign air carrier, which will be in operational control of the aircraft at all times.

A helicopter transfer or scenic flight is operated only by the disclosed, properly authorised operator, under the authority applicable to that flight. Scenic flights can also be commercial air tours, with their own regulatory framing, which the operator confirms before contract.

The most common misconception is the landing. A vineyard, estate, hotel or private property landing requires the operator to confirm the site is lawful, suitable and authorised in writing for your flight, alongside airspace restrictions, weather and safety requirements. Without that confirmation, the honest answer is an authorised alternative nearby, plus ground transport.

Aircraft types, cabin images, capacities, and ranges shown on this site are examples for education only. They do not represent aircraft owned by AIR NAPA, aircraft guaranteed to be available, or the specific aircraft that will operate any flight. The operating carrier and, where confirmed, the specific aircraft for your flight will be disclosed before contract.
