For weddings and events, plan backwards from the event: confirm passenger count and baggage early, including bulky items; choose the airport by aircraft category, remembering APC suits turboprops, light and most midsize jets while larger groups in heavy jets usually route via OAK or SFO; and build ground transfers as a separate, disclosed part of the plan. Book the disclosure step into your timeline: the operating carrier and total cost are confirmed before contract, not at the airport.
